I have been reading Meeting Jesus Again For The First Time (Marcus Borg, Harper Collins, USA, 1995.) It richly rewards a return visit. The title is evocative. Reading the book is a liberating adventure. Borg illustrates his thesis by telling his own story of meeting Jesus again for the first time and finding a joyous abundance in the process. The book is a provocative expose of the debilitating lethargy that cripples any relationship that is taken for granted. Further it exultantly demonstrates that the kingdom of unlimited potential is wide open to the most backward of seekers. Residency rights in the realm of abundance are freely available to all who truly want them. This book is an exciting read.
