Stations of the Cross Exhibition in Sydney is open 22 March - 1 April 2018
Works by 16 artists from diverse backgrounds invite – challenge – us to reflect on the familiar Easter narrative in new ways. They are not so much a depiction of that story as the artists’ responses to the universal, existential questions arising from specific stages in that story and from what is happening in our world today. The two additional stations –the resurrection and the Emmaus road appearance – suggest ways we find hope in the face of suffering and grief.
Exhibition Opening Hours
The Northmead Stations of the Cross exhibition is open 6-8pm on Thursday 22 March and every day from 10 am- 4pm through Sunday 1 April. There will be ‘curator’s tours’ on weekend days including Good Friday at 2pm and by appointment.
