Blue Mountains NSW

This group meet on the last Friday of the month in members' homes in the upper, lower and mid mountains. It begins with morning tea at 10am and finishes with 5 minutes silence at about 12:30pm. Current discussion focus: John Dominic Crossan’s book, The Greatest Prayer from Eremos Books for Groups. New members are always welcome.

Newcastle and the Hunter Region

New members are always welcome to join this group which meets every third Sunday from 4- 6pm. A meal is shared afterwards for those who can stay. The group discussions are lively and informative, using material from the Eremos magazine or an extract from a book. Freedom of thought, expression of our spirituality (whatever that may be) and the sharing of our personal faith journeys is encouraged. All are welcome and accepted. Current discussion focus: Marcus Borg’s, The Heart of Christianity.

The Hills group meets in Baulkham Hills on the first Thursday in the month at 7.30pm. Anyone who would like to join the current study of Bruce Sanguin’s The Way of the Wind: The Path & Practice of Evolutionary Christian Mysticism is very welcome to attend.

This Eremos book group meets in Hurstville on the 3rd Saturday of each month. Currently focusing on Marcus J Borg’s, Meeting Jesus Again for the First Time: The Historical Jesus and the Heart of Contemporary Faith.

This group is a collection of people who meet once a month in private homes on the third Sunday from 3-5pm. It is an ecumenical group with diverse community involvement. Meets 3.00pm, 3rd Sunday of the month. New seekers welcome. Current discussion focus: Exploring spirituality and theology in challenging and creative ways.

This group meets on the second Saturday in the month, usually at Beecroft, from 2-4pm followed by informal fellowship over afternoon tea. The current book being read/discussed is: Val Webb’s new book, Testing Tradition and Liberating Theology.

The Mornington Peninsula group meets at 9.30am (with morning tea) on the 2nd Tuesday of each month (except January). Current discussion focus: Nurturing the Soul, followed by Learning the art of Meditation & Contemplation.
