Out of Eremos Sydney groups begin again February 2010

Groups in Sydney meet on MONDAY, 22nd February, 2010 at Janet O'Sullivan's home in Randwick and WEDNESDAY, 24th February at Sue & George Emeleus's home in Ermington. Meetings start at 6.30pm with a simple shared meal, and then discussion from 7 to 8.30pm.

February topic: "Rediscovering Values", inspired by a new book by Jim Wallis - Rediscovering Values: On Wall Street, Main Street, and Your Street—A Moral Compass for the New Economy.

These small monthly dialogue groups began in Sydney in 2008 and are like the Eremos magazine and activities in offering a place to share different perspectives of seeking meaning. The gatherings are a common ground where we can look again at something we know or look for the first time at something we have not previously considered. We do not necessarily hope to achieve harmony or one opinion. “With its roots in Christianity” is part of the Eremos tradition and in these groups we hope to bring the Christian tradition as well as other religious traditions (as appropriate for those attending) into dialogue with the BIG questions of today’s world.

Newcomers are most welcome! Join us if you are able.
See the attached PDF flyer for more details about the topic and discussion questions for the February group meetings.

It is important to RSVP and if you want further information, phone Janet on (02) 9314 6386 or Sue on (02) 9684 2830 or send an email message to the address below.
