In the light of new awareness of the cosmos, is our way of envisaging God changing? Do we ask and answer “Where in the world is God?” In what way can we understand ‘made in the image of God’? What prayers make sense to us in this cosmology – Our Father in Heaven, silent meditation, the psalms?
This will be the theme of the Eremos Retreat Day in February. It will be an opportunity to compose and share our changing or unchanging thoughts, feelings and inclinations about our universe, church, our neighbours and us in response to our changing awareness of God.
