Taking time for yourself, to slow down, to reconnect, to be with others who wish to do the same, to connect with God, to reflect on who I am and whose I am…. These are the many reasons people attend Eremos retreats. Since our beginning in 1983, retreats have been an essential activity of the Eremos Institute in Sydney.
All our retreats include some input, time on your own for reflection, sharing in small group and communal prayer. The size of the group is never more than 24 and often about 10 people at most of our retreats, although we made an exception for our first retreat day in 2010 (Sacred Space and Sacred Time) as we had 60 people attend. New people are most welcome to join us at all future retreats and events.
