Upcoming Retreats

Taking time for yourself, to slow down, to reconnect, to be with others who wish to do the same, to connect with God, to reflect on who I am and whose I am…. These are the many reasons people attend Eremos retreats. Since our beginning in 1983, retreats have been an essential activity of the Eremos Institute in Sydney.

All our retreats include some input, time on your own for reflection, sharing in small group and communal prayer. Whilst the size of the group is never more than 24 and often about 10 people at most of our retreats, we are making an exception for our first retreat day in 2010 as we hope to have 50-60 people attend. New people are most welcome to join us at all future retreats and events.

    Noel Davis
is an Australian author whose works are reflections on life, its unfoldings and eruptions. Together with his wife Trish de Laney, he offers times aside for prayer, reflection and spiritual companionship. He shares that his writings come from encounters along the way, recollected in solitude and written with the help of the soles of his feet. His passion is being with folk walking the path and telling stories. He is the author of a number of books of poetry that reflect this approach to the spiritual life.

    Trish Watts
