Acquisition of Information
We do not acquire any more information about consumers than is required by law or is otherwise necessary to provide a high level of service efficiently and securely. When Credit Card Numbers are collected, we simply pass them onto the appropriate Financial Institution. We never permanently store complete Credit Card Numbers.
Transmission of Data
All data is acquired under 128-Bit SSL Security and only customers whose internet browsers support global 128-Bit encryption are able to use our system.
Restriction of Data
Eremos restricts its systems from those deemed to be in low risk countries. No person or computer located within our high risk country range has access to any Eremos payment systems.
All Eremos members are required to keep their username and passwords safe. They are not to be shared with other users. A restriction for login to the Members' only section of this website has been set at two different IP addresses in any 24 hour period. Breach of this access limit will trigger a warning message to the system administrator.
All customer sessions with the secure Eremos Merchant Servers have a 15 minute timeout feature. After this time, the customer is required to reconnect to our system to re-gain access.
Our Employees and Privacy
We train all of our staff about the importance of security and privacy. We give access to information about consumers only to those staff who require it to perform their jobs.
We make access to privacy-sensitive information subject to rigorous procedural and technological controls, consistent with legal requirements and the demands of customer service.
Disclosure to Third Parties
We will provide individually identifiable information about consumers to third parties only if we are compelled to do so by order of a duly empowered governmental authority, we have the express permission of the consumer, or it is necessary to process transactions and provide our services.
Privacy and Our Business Partners
Eremos utilises a secure payment gateway for online credit card transactions provided by Netregistry. Our provider is reputable and processes online credit card transactions for companies in almost all industries in Australia and New Zealand.
All online credit card transactions performed on this site using the gateway are secured payments.
It is fully automated with an immediate response. No human intervention is required to complete this credit card transaction. This is far safer than providing your credit card to a waiter or a retail sales person. No record of your complete Credit Card Number is made available to Eremos.
All transactions are performed under 128 Bit SSL Certificate.
Netregistry has been certified by their processing bank.
Netregistry has been approved by many global banks.
Netregistry does not receive these funds; they are deposited directly with Eremos.
After ordering, you will receive an email confirmation from us containing your order details. We will normally confirm receipt of your order within a few minutes of ordering. If you have selected to receive a hardcopy of the magazine we will attempt to send any goods via Australia Post within 7 working days; however if goods are unavailable, delivery will take a little longer.
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase we are happy to repair or exchange the goods. Please contact us so that we can resolve any problems.
We're happy to provide a refund where the goods purchased:
- are so defective that they shouldn't have been sold to you
- they break down or deliver a serious fault
- weren't suitable for their intended purpose
- do not match the sample or description provided
We won't provide a refund if
- you simply change your mind
- you bought the goods aware of the fault
- if the goods have been worn or used, or damaged after delivery
- if any attempt has been made to alter the product
All products must be returned in their original condition. All postage and insurance costs are to be paid by the buyer.
If the customer has had a reasonable amount of use from the goods, they may only have the right to a part-refund or repair.
Our refund policy complies with the recommendations of the NSW Office of Fair Trading.
We will not be responsible for parcels lost or damaged in transit.
