Join a group

From its very beginning, Eremos has nurtured small group gatherings where people can
share their experiences and learn with and be nourished by one another in a common exploration.

STARTING A GROUP

The Eremos Membership Secretary may be able to assist members to find others to form a group in their area.

Please feel free to email directly the group contact listed near you. If you have any need of further assistance please contact groups@eremos.org.au.

The focus of Eremos groups is on collegiality and sharing, rather than an expert leader. Most groups use our Books for Groups resources and read a book over a course of several weeks or months. Some also use the EREMOS magazine articles as stimulation for a regular discussion.

ESTABLISHED GROUPS

There are several active Eremos groups. Please see below for details of their current activity and how to contact them. If you have any questions or would like to list your group here, please contact groups@eremos.org.au

UPDATED: THE END OF AN ERA (BOOKS FOR GROUPS AND INDIVIDUALS)

After nearly 40 years of providing sets of books for groups and individuals to read and discuss, Eremos Books for Groups is closing down.  It’s been a wonderful resource for many people over the years but in the past few years only a handful of books have been borrowed so we have made the decision to wind up this project.

We thank all the people who have helped to organise and administer our book borrowing scheme over the years and most recently Elaine Alinta who has a cupboard full of books she would love to give away, you can write Elaine at PO Box 198 Glenbrook NSW 2773 for a copy of the list or to request your books.

Do you have a library or group that might like multiple copies of the same title? We would be grateful for your help in getting these wonderful books into hands of people who would like to read them.
