Eugene Stockton suggests that the wide-eyed wonder of a child is probably the best translation of what is meant by ‘dadirri’, deep listening. Wondering can take us out of our usual pre-set ways of encountering (seeing, hearing, feeling) what surrounds us in our daily lives.

“Wonder recaptures that sense, long suppressed and long forgotten, of the wide-eyed child who once explored his or her new world”

--Eugene Stockton: A Way to God.

  • What comes to mind when you hear someone talk about what is wonderful?

  • When have you experienced wide-eyed wonder?

  • Can wonder become an energy for your restoration?

Eremos retreat team members will support a collaborative enquiry in which each person may share their ‘full of wonder’ experiences, their reactions and responses to such experiences and how we might regain or reclaim a sense of awe and wonder in our lives. This shared exploration enables us to recognise wisdom and to discern a call to increased understanding, personal transformation and our gift to the wider world. Time for personal reflection and quiet will sustain this exploration.

Cost: $60 or $50 for Eremos members. Concession $10 less.

Includes Morning tea and lunch.

Register no later than 25th February. If you prefer to pay by bank transfer please contact us at events@eremos.org.au for details.
