Professor Mohamad Abdalla AM was our keynote speaker for the Eremos Institute Annual General Meeting on 10th November 2024. Professor Abdalla shared some of the fundamental teachings of Islam related to doctrine, acts of worship, and spirituality. He focused on the meaning and importance of tawhid (the Oneness of God) in theology, along with other Islamic cultural and spiritual resources such as art and architecture. He also explored with us important aspects of esoteric and exoteric acts of worship, that is the external or more public aspects of worship and the interior or contemplative dimensions.
